ENDO AND EXOBRONCHIAL SCHWANNOMA TREATED BY SLEEVE RESECTION OF THE LEFT BRONCHIAL STUMP

Bronchial schwannomas are rare rumours. We report a case of an endo an d exobronchial schwannoma which presented with dyspnoea and left pulmo nary atelectasis. This was treated by complete resection of the tumour with a resection and anastomosis of the left bronchial stump flush wi th the lobar bifurcation. This tumour is most often benign and a conse rvative approach should be taken each time that this is permissible an atomically.
