Abstract
Scimitar syndrome is a rare congenital pulmonary anomaly that is chara cterized by hypoplasia of the right lung and the right pulmonary arter y with anomalous pulmonary venous drainage to the inferior vena cava o r the right atrium. Very few reports are available that analyze the va lue of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in establishing the diagnosis. We present a case with Scimitar syndrome in which anomalous pulmonary venous return was confirmed by cine MRI.
