Abstract
High-chromium and high-silicon alloyed cast irons are not well known, although they are very corrosion-resistant materials and provide techn ical solutions to some difficult corrosion problems. This article revi ews these alloys' chemical compositions and properties. It also highli ghts some industrial applications in which they are useful.
