Abstract
A new alkaloid, 9-0-acetyl-7-0-angelyl-retronecine, was isolated from Senecio triangularis together with 7-0-angelyl-, 9-0-angelyl-, and 7-0 -angelyl-9-0-sarracinylretronecine; S. pseudaureus and S. streptanthif oliso yielded only retrosine and sene-cionine.
