Kl. Ngai et Ak. Rizos, PARAMETERLESS EXPLANATION OF THE NON-ARRHENIUS CONDUCTIVITY IN GLASSYFAST IONIC CONDUCTORS, Physical review letters, 76(8), 1996, pp. 1296-1299
Kincs and Martin [Phys. Rev. Lett. 76, 70 (1996)] have recently discov
ered a ubiquitous non-Arrhenius temperature dependence of the ionic co
nductivity in glassy fast ionic conductors when the conductivity excee
ds the high level of 10(-3) to 10(-2) Omega(-1) cm(-1). This important
experimental discovery is readily explained and reproduced quantitati
vely by the coupling scheme without the use of any adjustable paramete
