LIVER INVOLVEMENT IN FAMILIAL GRANULOMATOUS ARTHRITIS (BLAU SYNDROME)

We describe hepatic granulomata in a patient with familial granulomato us synovitis (Blau syndrome). While visceral involvement is a previous ly unrecognized manifestation of Blau syndrome, its occurrence has bee n well documented in a similar disease, childhood sarcoidosis. Our fin dings suggest that the 2 conditions (Blau syndrome and childhood sarco idosis) are more closely related than thought.
