Abstract
Chromophores embedded in zeolite-type hosts have potential application s in optical devices. However, the conventional preparation results in an inhomogeneous distribution of the chromophores. It is demonstrated that direct synthesis can result in chromophore-zeolite composites wi th well-defined stoichiometry and uniform chromophore distribution, as illustrated for [Cocp2(+)F(-)]-NON in the figure.
