uited to studying the solid-state structure, conformation and molecula
r dynamics of oligothiophenes, but to date few data are available. The
investigation reported here focuses on a homologous series of unsubst
ituted oligothiophenes. It is shown that C-13-CPMAS NMR is capable of
detecting changes in the symmetry properties of the oligothiophenes an
d of discriminating between odd- and even-number oligothiophenes.
