Phaeocollybia amygdalospora, Ph. herrerae, Ph. moseri and Ph. pseudolu
gubris are described as new species from Mexico. All are associated wi
th conifers except Ph. herrerae which was found in both Quercus and Pi
nus-Quercus forests. Morphological features and ecological distributio
n are considered in the delimitation of the species. With these taxa,
there are 19 species known from Mexico.
