Abstract
The liquid-liquid extraction of uranyl nitrate by tetrabutylalkylenedi phosphonates (TBADP) and TBADP-di(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid (D2EHPA ) mixtures from aqueous solutions of nitric acid was investigated. The tetrabutylalkylenediphosphonates tested for extraction were: tetrabut ylmethylenediphosphonate (TBMDP) and tetrabutylethylene-diphosphonate (TBEDP). The results of the extraction tests have revealed a synergist ic effect when mixtures of TBADP-D2EHPA are used.
