Abstract
We give an overview of C. Benoit a la Guillaume's activity in II-VI's Semimagnetic Semiconductors, with special emphasis on Bound Magnetic P olarons studies. Optical experiments have revealed very powerful for p robing magnetic properties in these systems such as exchange interacti ons, Magnetic Polarons, magnetization relaxation.
