Abstract
Circular dichroism spectral studies reveal that [Cu(5,6-dmp)(2)](2+) ( 5,6-dmp 5,6-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline) selectively and reversibly i nduces the conversion of calf thymus DNA from the right-handed B to th e left-handed surface-bound Z conformation.
