S. Yusuf, VERAPAMIL FOLLOWING UNCOMPLICATED MYOCARDIAL-INFARCTION - PROMISING, BUT NOT PROVEN, The American journal of cardiology, 77(5), 1996, pp. 421
The available data on the use of verapamil following myocardial infarc
tion are summarized, and indicate a potential for reduced reinfarction
rates and trends toward lower mortality. These data contrast sharply
with the available data on dihydropyridine calcium antagonists which d
emonstrate trends toward an increase in both reinfarction and death.
