Abstract
In a recent paper [S. Bahar, Chaotic orbits and bifurcation from a fix ed point generated by an iterated function system, Chaos, Solitons & F ractals 5, 1001-1006 (1995)], we described bifurcation from a fixed po int generated by an iterated function system (IFS), as well as the gen eration of 'chaotic' orbits by an IFS. In what follows, we will discus s unusual and quite interesting patterns of bifurcation from a fixed p oint in an IFS system, as well as the routes to chaos taken by IFS-gen erated orbits.
