A 34-year-old woman with extensive Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome is prese
nted. Clinical and radiological tests demonstrated that three quadrant
s are affected with haemangiomas, varicose veins and bone abnormalitie
s. In addition, our patient suffers from congenital lymphoedema of bot
h legs. Associated findings such as intestinal haemangiomata, vascular
hamartomas, lipomas or ar-teriovenous abnormalities of the spinal cor
d were not apparent. The treatment is only symptomatic with compressio
n bandages and an orthopaedic appliance for compensation of the differ
ent leg length.
