Abstract
We report a case, in which laryngospasm developed due to a failed intu bation under sedation. During ventilation tension pneumoperitoneum dev eloped resulting in cardiac and respiratory failure. Laparotomy reveal ed two tears on the lesser curvature of the stomach. Factors influenci ng stomach rupture are discussed.
