Abstract
Concentration and temperature dependence of viscosity of propylene car bonate (PC)/dimethoxyethane (DME) mixtures were studied at temperature s between -45 and 25 degrees C. Among various semiempirical eta(x)-fun ctions available for data analysis, only the McAllister equation fits the data precisely. Thermodynamic quantities obtained from such an ana lysis results in an interpretation of the structure of this binary sys tem consistent with results from other methods.
