Abstract
Specimens of Ambrysus h. hungerfordi Usinger (Hemiptera: Naucoridae) w ere collected in Presidio Co., Texas, and represent the first record o f the species in the United States. Adult males and females as well as 2nd through 5th instars were taken in the plunge pool at the base of a waterfall. This record brings the known number of species of Ambrysu s in the United States to 17.
