Abstract
The title complex, ,4,7,10,13,16-hexaazacycloocta-decane)dioxouranium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonate), [UO2(C12H30N6)]2+.2CF3SO3-, is composed of [UO2(18-azacrown-6)]2+ and CF3SO3- ions. In the cation, the uranyl is bonded to the six N atoms of the crown in a hexagonal bipyramidal coordination. This is the first reported uranyl hexaazacrown inclusion complex.
