Abstract
Blue-grey crystals of [Ni(bipy)2(NCO)2] (where bipy is 2,2'-bipyridine ) were prepared and its structure determined. There are discrete molec ules with symmetry 2. The Ni(II) ion is octahedrally coordinated by si x N atoms, with some slight distortion towards a trigonal prism.
