Abstract
We study the possible deviations - with respect to the resonance of th e isolated scattering pair - of the parameters of a two-body resonance in the field of a third particle, in the case of reactions with near- threshold resonance formation. We find that a possible description of the observed phenomenon is produced if one also uses an imaginary part in the effective potential between the resonance system and the accom panying particle. We compare our calculations for the Li-5* (16.66 Me V) excited state with the results of the Li-6(He-3, alpha p)alpha expe riment at E(He-3)= 8-14 MeV.
