Abstract
We report liquid-liquid equilibrium data for the ternary system {x(1)t ert-butyl methyl ether(C5H12O) + x(2)water + (1-x(1)-x(2))1-octanol} a t 298.15 and 308.15 K. The data were satisfactorily fitted with UNIQUA C and NRTL equations, and were satisfactorily predicted by the UNIFAC group contribution method. (C) 1996 Academic Press Limited
