Abstract
We describe the case of a 69-year-old male with a year-long history of renal failure, Investigation revealed proliferative glomerulonephriti s, cryoglobulinemia, and Q fever endocarditis, Renal tissue examinatio n for the presence of Coxiella burnetii was positive, The patient was treated by doxycycline and chloroquine; his clinical status, renal fai lure, and chronic Q fever have dramatically improved.
