Abstract
Lepton-pair production from a quark-gluon plasma is considered and eva luated numerically to first order in alpha(s) for finite T,mu in a wid e region of masses and energies of the lepton pair. The inclusion of t he O(alpha(s)) corrections in our numerical calculations is particular ly significant for T2>>q2.
