Ja. Thomas et al., MOLECULAR WIRES - AN ELECTROCHEMICAL STUDY OF METAL-METAL INTERACTIONS THROUGH CHAINS OF 4 CARBON-ATOMS, Polyhedron, 15(9), 1996, pp. 1409-1414
The new complexes [Mo(Tp)(NO)Cl(O-Z-OH)] {Tp* = HB(3,5-Me(2)C(3)HN(2)
)(3); Z = -CH2CH2CH2CH2-, -CH2CH=CHCH2- and -CH2 drop CCH2-} and [{Mo
(Tp)(NO)Cl}(2)(O-Z-O)] have been synthesized and characterized. Elect
rochemical studies reveal respective comproportionation constants of 5
0, 349 and 108 for the bimetallic complexes with the alkene bridge giv
ing the largest metal-metal interaction and the alkane the smallest.
