Abstract
The efficiency of research depends on design and analysis of experimen ts. Different aspects of this dependence are presented. The use of res ults of decision theory is demonstrated. Problems of using results of decision theory are discussed, Experiments with scientific goals and e xperiments with great economic effects should be designed different. T he use of existing information on data banks (data collections) for mo del choice and design of experiments is illustrated.
