Studies indicate that equine tapeworm can be a significant risk factor
in the aetiology of ileocaecal colic and may be associated with intus
susceptions Tom Barragry of UCD's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine looks
at the effects of tapeworm and discusses its diagnosis and treatment.
