The aim of this work is to investigate the process of cleaning working
fluids and sewage water containing hard particles of impurities using
polymeric fibrous filters, the latter being sources of magnetic field
s. A mathematical model of a magnetic filter that has been explored ex
perimentally is proposed, and the role of the main parameters of the f
ilter material in filtration efficiency is analysed. Technological way
s are determined to control the parameters of the filter material in t
he course of preparation, so that the required filtration characterist
ics can be ensured.
