Abstract
The efficacy of two biolarvicides Spherix (Bacillus sphaericus Russian strain 101) and Bactoculicide (Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensi s, Russian strain 164) against larvae of anopheles stephensi and Culex quinquefasciatus was determined at different pH levels of water using bioassay tests under laboratory conditions. Both the biolarvicides we re found highly effective at pH between 3.5 to 9.5 while at pH 10.5, t heir efficacy was drastically reduced.
