D. Ciurchea et al., STATISTICAL REPRESENTATION OF THE EXCESS CONDUCTIVITY IN A BI-SR-CA-CU-O SUPERCONDUCTOR, Superconductor science and technology, 9(2), 1996, pp. 88-92
The onset of superconductivity may be described by the product of a Ga
ussian with a Student distribution. The excess conductivity properties
of many specimens are numerically fitted and prove the accuracy of th
is model. The number of degrees of freedom yielded by the Student dist
ribution corresponds to the number of independent variants of percolat
ion of the Cooper pairs above T-cmf. This number depends linearly on t
he type of 3d substituents of Cu (Zn, Fe, Ni).
