Abstract
Hydrophobic parameters of N-dodecanoylamino acids are presented. These parameters were calculated and determined experimentally using revers e-phase liquid chromatography. It was shown that hydrophobic parameter s correlate well with several colloidal parameters of sodium salts of N-acylamino acids, independent of the length of acyl radical. Correlat ion equations, relating colloidal and hydrophobic parameters for the a bove compounds, are presented.
