TENSOR GENERATORS IN SYSTEMS OF 2ND-STAGE AND 4TH-STAGE TENSORS

In the theory of tensor functions generators play an important role wh en forming tensor-valued functions with one or several argument tensor s with (in general) different numbers of stages (cf. [1] - [7]). In th e present paper irreducible systems of tensor generators are formed fo r systems of symmetric tensors of second and fourth stage in the two-, three, and four-dimensional space by use of a combinatorial method.
