Abstract
The electrochemical and corrosion behavior of 3(sic)CpM 958-20 jewelry alloy-23-carat gold-in hydrochloric acid solutions was investigated a nd shown to be identical to that of chemically pure gold. Slight diffe rences peculiar to the freshly cleaned surface of the alloy disappear after its currentless exposure to the solution for a certain period of time.
