Abstract
We report a case in which a ''false'' aneurysm of the basilar artery d eveloped after an assault on a patient resulting in head injuries, Dia gnostic imaging and endovascular treatment are described, Formation me chanisms of traumatic intracranial aneurysms are discussed, and the li terature is reviewed.
