Abstract
We report seismological results of a new improved standard solar model which for low and intermediate degrees reproduces the observations wi thin a few mu HZ. The influence of the gravitational contraction, of t he solar age, of the equation of state, of a varying mixing length and of the surface boundary condition is also considered.
