A nortriterpene glycoside, pyrocincholic acid 3 oxy-D-glucopyranoside-
28-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside, was isolated from the leaves of Isertia h
aenkeana and its structure established by H-1 and C-13 NMR spectral st
udies. The complete H-1 and C-13 NMR resonance assignments for this tr
iterpene were confirmed by the conventional 1D NMR methods and 2D shif
t-correlated NMR techniques: DQF COSY, TOCSY, ROESY and HMQC.
