Abstract
To describe the coupled diffusion reactions of the Mn2+ and the Mn3+ i ons oxidation in Mn-Zn ferrites, we have generalized the Fick's first law. Such an equation is available to describe the diffusion of a spec ies in a concentration gradient with additional conditions of minimal and maximal values varying at each point in the material. The diffusio n equations have then been solved by using the finite element method.
