Abstract
We study the statistical features of DNA pseudo-random walks with a dy namical model leading to scaling exponents identical to those of real DNA sequences. The Onsager regression method shows that coding DNA seq uences have long-range correlations which are obscured at short distan ces by environmental fluctuations.
