Abstract
A regularization procedure for linear systems of the type Sigma(i=1)(n ) f(i)(z(j))x(i)=g(z(j)), j=1, 2,...,n is presented, which is particul arly useful in the case when z(1), z(2),...,z(n) are close to each oth er. The associated numerical algorithm was tested on several examples for which analytic solutions do exist and was found to yield highly ac curate results.
