Abstract
Fission fragment mass and kinetic energies have been studied for the o dd-odd fissioning system Am-244 in comparison with the even-even fissi oning system U-236. In the mass distributions, fine structures with a periodicity of 2.5u and 5u respectively have been observed and discuss ed, Also a fission mode analysis was attempted on the mass-energy dist ributions.
