Abstract
A preliminary list of the fungi known from French Guiana is presented. The list is drawn from herbarium specimens and from literature citati ons. 625 taxa are listed with herbarium references, collecting and som e bibliographic information. Two new combinations are introduced : Gal erina pectinata (Saccardo) Courtec. and Cotylidia spectabilis (Leveill e) Courtec.
