GIANT-CELL ARTERITIS PRESENTING WITH ISCHEMIC SKIN-LESIONS OF THE NECK

THE spectrum of clinical manifestations attributable to giant cell art eritis (GCA) has expanded considerably over the last few decades, refl ecting the systemic nature of the disease [1]. Cutaneous lesions have, however, only been reported occasionally [2-9]. In the following, we report a case of GCA in which ischaemic lesions with a necklace-like d istribution were the presenting manifestation.
