THE spectrum of clinical manifestations attributable to giant cell art
eritis (GCA) has expanded considerably over the last few decades, refl
ecting the systemic nature of the disease [1]. Cutaneous lesions have,
however, only been reported occasionally [2-9]. In the following, we
report a case of GCA in which ischaemic lesions with a necklace-like d
istribution were the presenting manifestation.
