Abstract
The performance of six paint systems applied over weathered galvanised steel was studied, as a function of exposure time, in a salt spray ch amber. The paint systems exhibited good corrosion performance and good creepback from a scribe mark performance, but both blistering and adh esion loss performance were not good. The chlorinated rubber painting systems performed better than the other paint systems, with the alkyd system performing worst.
