We have separated the longitudinal (f(00)), transverse (f(11)), and lo
ngitudinal-transverse interference (f(01)) structure functions in the
H-2(e, e'p)n reaction at \(q) over right arrow\ approximate to 400 MeV
/c and omega approximate to 110 MeV. A nonrelativistic calculation whi
ch includes effects due to final state interactions, meson exchange cu
rrents, and isobar configurations agrees with the measured f(11) and f
(01) but overpredicts f(00) by 25% (2 sigma). The data are also compar
ed to the results of previous structure function measurements.
