P. Pulkkinen et M. Vornanen, COMPUTER-ANALYSIS AND PLOTTING OF PHYSIOLOGICAL SIGNALS IN CARDIAC-MUSCLE RESEARCH, Computer methods and programs in biomedicine, 49(1), 1996, pp. 49-54
A program (Caphys) for IMB-compatible microcomputers is described whic
h facilitates off-line analysis of muscle physiologic signals. Caphys
was written as an analysis tool for data acquired through AxoTape prog
ram (Axon Instruments). Parameters for time course and amplitude of is
ornetric contractions and intracellularly recorded action potentials a
re calculated by the program. The features of Caphys include low-pass
filtering and derivation of the measured signals. The program allows a
lso screen display and printer output of the analyzed physiological tr
acings. Caphys is a suitable extension for the commercially available
acquisition software, making the analysis and plotting of primary phys
iologic data faster and more efficient.
