Abstract
Two new ligands, hiophenecarlbonyl)-N'-ferrocenecarbonyl)-hydrazine (H 2TF,C5H5-FeC5H4CONHNHCOC= CHCH=CHS) and N-14-methoxybenzoyi)-N/-ferroc enecarbonylhydrazine (H(2)MBF, C5H5FeC5H4CONHNHCOC6H4OCH3-p),and their complexes with some transition metals, M(TF) (M = Ni, Zn, Hg and Co) and M(MBF) (M = Mn, Co, Ni, Cu and Zn) have been synthesized and chara cterized by elemental analyses, UV, IR and NMR. The ligands are tetrad entate and coordinate to central ion in enolic form.
