Ba. Kolachev et Dv. Ryndenkov, COMPARATIVE-ANALYSIS OF STRUCTURE AND PROPERTIES OF TITANIUM-ALLOYS IN REGARD TO MOLYBDENUM AND ALUMINUM EQUIVALENTS, Russian metallurgy. Metally, (4), 1995, pp. 44-50
A comparative consideration of titanium alloys manufactured in Russia,
USA, Europe, Japan, and China is given in diagram with coordinates al
uminum equivalent - molybdenum equivalent. With a comparative narrow p
redetermined range of molybdenum equivalents, the room-temperature alu
minum-equivalent dependence of the strength of alpha and pseudo-alpha
alloys could be described by the following regression equation: UTS, M
Pa = 326 + 60 [Al](eq). With comparable values of aluminum equivalent
the highest strength properties of the annealed and of the seed titani
um alloys are observed when the molybdenum equivalents are 10 - 11% an
d 11 - 13%, respectively.
