Abstract
A synthetic route for racemization-free incorporation of derivatives o f penicillamine into the bislactim ether template is reported. Penicil lamine-derived bislactim ethers exhibit excellent stereodiscrimination , and the chiral auxiliary can be removed from the target amino acid e ster by simple extraction.
