GENERALIZED ASSOCIATED DISCRETE CIRCUIT MODEL FOR SWITCHING DEVICES

The paper describes a new switch model based on the associated discret e circuit (ADC) models. The switch model enables a switching circuit t o be modelled by a constant admittance matrix, irrespective of its swi tching state. This feature allows a system with changing topology to b e modelled efficiently and elegantly by one set of model equations, an d a reduction of circuit formulation and computing time. The switch mo del is applied to the simulation of a half-bridge switched-mode circui t. Experimental results confirm the validity of the new switch model.
