Abstract
We show that the q-Weyl coefficients of the quantum algebra SUq(3) are equal to the q-Racah coefficients of the quantum algebra SUq(2) (up t o a simple phase factor). Using a q-analog of the resummation procedur e we obtain also the q-analogues of all known general analytical expre ssions for the 6j-symbols (or the Racah coefficients) of the quantum a lgebra SUq(2) starting from one such formula.
